02

Terms of sale

2.1 How the contract is formed

Website listings and responses to enquiries are invitations to purchase, not binding offers. Before payment, Ticket G will provide the event, date, venue, ticket quantity, seat or location information where applicable, restrictions known to us, face value, total resale price and delivery method. Your order is accepted and the contract is formed when Ticket G confirms receipt of cleared payment and acceptance of your order in writing.

2.2 Secondary tickets

You are buying a resale ticket. The resale price may differ from the ticket’s face value. The total price displayed or quoted includes all compulsory charges payable to Ticket G. No mandatory booking fee will be added later. You are responsible for optional costs such as your travel, accommodation and any optional delivery method you choose.

2.3 Accuracy and availability

All tickets remain subject to availability until the order is accepted. Ticket G takes reasonable care to describe tickets accurately. If an obvious pricing or listing error is identified before acceptance, we may correct it and give you the choice to proceed at the corrected price or cancel for a full refund. We will disclose, where applicable and known, the seat number or location, face value, any unique ticket identifier required by law, restrictions on use (including age, accessibility, named-ticket or resale restrictions), and any connection between Ticket G and the event organiser.

2.4 Buyer responsibilities

You must provide accurate contact and delivery details, check the event and ticket details before paying, comply with venue and organiser rules, and ensure every attendee meets entry requirements. You must not reproduce, alter or resell a ticket unlawfully. Resale of certain tickets, including some football tickets, may be restricted or unlawful; Ticket G will not knowingly offer a ticket where resale is prohibited.

2.5 Fair use

Ticket G does not use automated software to exceed an organiser’s ticket-purchase limits and does not knowingly obtain tickets through unlawful means. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a transaction where fraud, unlawful resale, payment misuse or a material breach of these terms is reasonably suspected.

03

Event and ticket information

Event organisers may change dates, times, venues, performers, fixtures, entry procedures or seating. Ticket G will pass on material information received from the seller, organiser or venue as soon as reasonably possible. Supporting acts, team selections and running orders are not guaranteed unless they form an express term of the sale.

Some tickets are delivered close to the event. Where this applies, the expected delivery timing will be explained before purchase. Mobile tickets may require a compatible smartphone, internet connection or transfer through an organiser’s ticketing account.

04

Payment and delivery

Payments are made through an individual Revolut payment link. Revolut processes the payment under its own terms and privacy information. Ticket G will never ask you to send payment to a different recipient without first verifying the change with you through the contact details published on this website.

Ticket G will confirm the delivery method before payment. Electronic tickets are sent to the email address or ticketing account you provide. Risk in a ticket passes to you when it is delivered to the agreed electronic account, email address or postal address. Your statutory rights are not affected.

05

Refunds and cancellations

No automatic 14-day cooling-off right for dated events

Under regulation 28(1)(h) of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, the statutory 14-day cancellation right generally does not apply to services related to leisure activities where the contract provides for a specific date or period, including most live-event tickets.

5.1 Change of mind

Because event tickets reserve capacity for a specific date, purchases are final once accepted unless Ticket G expressly offers a written cancellation right for that particular order. A voluntary refund may be considered if requested within 14 days of purchase and if the ticket can be securely cancelled, returned or resold, but this is not guaranteed and does not apply once a ticket has been used, transferred onward or the event has started.

5.2 Cancelled events

If an event is cancelled and not rescheduled, Ticket G will refund the amount that Ticket G receives back from the original ticket source, together with any separate compulsory Ticket G fee where applicable. We will not be responsible for travel, accommodation or other consequential costs. Refunds will be made to the original payment method as soon as reasonably possible and normally within 14 days after Ticket G receives the corresponding refund or confirms that it is due.

5.3 Rescheduled or materially changed events

If a ticket remains valid for a new date, it will not automatically be refundable. Where the organiser or original ticket source offers a refund because of a reschedule or material change, Ticket G will explain the available option and applicable deadline. You must contact us promptly so that we can meet any organiser deadline.

5.4 Invalid, materially misdescribed or undelivered tickets

If Ticket G fails to deliver the agreed ticket, or the ticket is invalid or materially different from the description due to a matter within Ticket G’s responsibility, contact us immediately with evidence. Ticket G will, as appropriate, provide a reasonably comparable replacement or a full refund of the affected ticket price. Nothing in this policy limits remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

5.5 Returning a ticket

Where a return is agreed, follow the instructions provided and do not use, copy or transfer the ticket. A refund may be withheld until the ticket has been returned, cancelled or its transfer back has been verified. Approved refunds will be issued through the original payment route unless otherwise agreed.

06

Complaints and disputes

Please contact Gerry McCafferty at gerry.mccafferty@gmail.com or 07725 228 806 with your order details and the outcome you are seeking. We aim to acknowledge complaints within two working days and provide a substantive response within 14 days.

If we cannot resolve a complaint, you may seek independent advice from Citizens Advice Scotland or use the Scottish courts. Ticket G does not currently subscribe to a specific alternative dispute resolution provider. These terms are governed by Scots law; consumers retain any mandatory right to bring proceedings in the part of the UK where they live.

Privacy notice

Information we use

We may receive your name, email address, telephone number, ticket request, order and correspondence details, delivery information, payment confirmation and information required to prevent fraud or resolve a complaint. This website’s request form opens a prepared email in your own email application; the website itself does not store the form entry.

Why we use it

  • To answer enquiries and take steps at your request before entering a contract.
  • To process, deliver and administer an order because it is necessary to perform our contract.
  • To maintain tax, accounting and transaction records because we have legal obligations.
  • To prevent fraud, protect our business and handle complaints where this is in our legitimate interests.
  • To send marketing only where we have the required consent or another lawful basis; you may opt out at any time.

Sharing and retention

Information may be shared only as necessary with Revolut, ticketing or delivery providers, event organisers or venues, professional advisers, regulators, law enforcement or IT service providers. Those organisations may act as independent controllers under their own privacy notices. We do not sell personal information. We keep enquiry data only as long as needed, and normally retain order and accounting records for up to six years after the relevant financial year unless law or a live dispute requires longer.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask to access, correct, erase, restrict or receive your information, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent. Contact us to exercise a right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We will tell you before personal data is transferred internationally where UK data protection law requires additional safeguards.

08

Cookies and website data

Ticket G does not currently set advertising, personalisation or non-essential analytics cookies. The hosting service may use strictly necessary security or load-balancing technology to deliver the website. Strictly necessary technology does not require consent. If optional analytics, advertising or other non-essential cookies are introduced, Ticket G will update this notice and provide a consent choice before they are used.

09

Liability and general terms

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, breach of statutory consumer rights, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, Ticket G is not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made or for business losses suffered by a consumer.

If any term is found unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. Ticket G may update these website terms, but the terms supplied when your order was accepted will continue to govern that order.
